Cookie Policy

What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser when you visit it. It lets the site remember things from one page to the next, such as the language you have chosen.
Not all cookies are the same. Some are necessary for the website to work. Others are used to analyse your behaviour or to show you advertising.
Which cookies larmeva.com uses
Just one. And it's a technical one.
| Name | Purpose | Who sets it | Duration | Does it require your consent? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | Remembering the language you have chosen (Spanish, English or Russian) so you are not asked again on every page | Larmeva (first-party cookie) | 1 year (365 days) | No |
This cookie stores nothing but a language code: es, en or ru. It does not contain your name, your IP address, or any data that could identify you.
What we do NOT use
We want to be explicit about this, because it is unusual:
- We do not use analytics cookies. We have no Google Analytics or any equivalent tool. We do not measure how many people visit the website or which pages they look at.
- We do not use advertising cookies. There are no Meta, Google or TikTok pixels, nor any from any advertising network.
- We do not use social media cookies. The links to our profiles are ordinary links: they do not load anything from those platforms while you are browsing here.
- We do not share information about your browsing with anyone.
Why we do not ask for your permission
Spanish cookie rules (Article 22.2 of Ley 34/2002, the Spanish law on information society services) require consent to be obtained before cookies are installed, but they leave out of that obligation the ones that are strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested yourself. Remembering the language you have chosen falls within that exception.
As it is the only cookie we use, there is nothing to consent to, and that is why you will not see a cookie banner on this website. Even so, we are telling you about it here so that you know exactly what is stored.
If we were ever to add analytics cookies, or cookies of any other kind that are not exempt, we would ask for your permission before installing them and we would update this page.
How to delete or block it
You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings. Here is where to find them:
- Chrome: Settings โ Privacy and security โ Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings โ Privacy & Security โ Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences โ Privacy โ Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings โ Cookies and site permissions
If you delete it or block it, the website will carry on working normally. The only difference is that you will have to choose the language again on each visit.
Changes to this policy
If we change the cookies we use, we will update this page and the date at the top. We recommend checking it from time to time.
